Based in London, Guy Schalom has over 35 years’ experience in a range of musical idioms.
Guy’s unique drumming style has been heard on major movies such as Warner Bros’ PAN (2015) and Paul Hyett’s The Seasoning House as well as on hit network television programs SAS Rogue Heroes (BBC, Netflix), Where The Heart Is (BBC), Fat Friends (ITV) and Glenn Miller’s Last Flight (Channel 4) to name a few.
He has toured and recorded with legendary Rock ‘n’ Roll artists Linda Gail Lewis (‘lil sister of Jerry Lee), The Shadows, Mike Berry, Colbert Hamilton & The Nitros; and was resident drummer at Manchester’s famous Matt & Phred’s Jazz Club and later with the celebrated big band at Blackpool Tower Ballroom and the Glenn Miller Orchestra.
Although Guy Schalom’s drumming background is in jazz and improvised music, during his college days his energetic drumming was also popular with the Indie bands in his hometown of Manchester, with many of whom he recorded several albums.
