  2pm-5pm –  Baladi Workshop for Dancers – Interactive dance session with Magdy Tewfik and Guy Schalom on the structured dance improvisation known as Ashra Baladi.  A detailed look at the major musical archetypes of Egyptian Baladi such as Taxim, Tet and Awadi plus plenty to practice and develop a stronger feeling for this soulful and emotive style.

  7:30pm-11pm – Middle Eastern Night (Concert & Banquet) – Join Magdy Tewfik and Guy Schalom in their Baladi Blues – Unplugged format for an Egyptian baladi party like no other.  Optional Middle Eastern banquet.
