  12pm-1:45pm – NEWLY ADDED: Rhythmic Awareness & Tabla Solo Interpretation – Live Music Workshop from Guy Schalom.  Internalise the major Egyptian dance rhythms and gain confidence improvising to them, learn to interpret the musical signals tabla players use to indicate changes in the music and learn how to indicate your wishes to the musicians during performance.

  2pm-5pm – SOLD OUT – Tarab Song Workshop for Dancers – Interactive dance session from Guy Schalom and featuring Tarek Bitar on oud and vocals on this soulful and emotive style of Arabic music.  A detailed look at the key musical stuructures and archetypes of classical Arabic vocal music plus time to practice and develop a stronger feeling for this beautiful style. 

  7:30pm-11pm – Middle Eastern Night (Concert & Banquet) – Join Tarek Bitar and Guy Schalom in a rare and intimate duo format for an Arabic party like no other.  Optional Middle Eastern banquet.
